There's always a mixed emotion when you discover a wonderful series that's already been canceled: the joy of finding something really cool with the sadness that you couldn't help keep it on the air.
However, no amount of fan outcry could have have saved Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement's brilliant HBO series Flight of the Conchords (based on their successful musical comedy act): the creators killed the show after its second season, citing exhaustion and needing the freedom to pursue other projects.
However, viewers can still enjoy the magic on home video with HBO's Flight of the Conchords: The Complete Collection which features both seasons plus several extras in one box set.
